My name is Jeremiah Shepard. I have a passion and drive for helping ensure that the services, tools, and processes enable people to work more efficiently. I help companies improve IT and business operations and align strategically through projects by inspiring cross-functional teams. I am a PMP & ITIL Expert who applies methodologies and best practices to empower my team to be successful.
Times are changing (or have already changed and I am behind). I have read several career posts, blogs, and books that address a professional online presence. Before my research, I just had LinkedIn, but did not utilize to even half of its potential. So I have been increasing posting and group activities. I have also created a Twitter account, , to tweet. This is meant to be a play in words, using the profession of shepherd. In my case, Sheparding is to guide or direct [team members & organizations] in a particular direction. Does anyone out there use Google +? Then, there is this website that originally used SquareSpace and is now on WordPress.
What is the goal of all of this? I like helping and mentoring. With my experience and knowledge, and the fact I enjoy writing, I decided to share what I know from my perspective. Though there might be tangents from time to time, I will be focusing on leadership and management, project management, and IT service management topics.
