My car is a mobile classroom, I listen to educational to fuel the lifelong learning, such as Entreleadership, The Ken Coleman Show, and Faith By Hearing with a dozen more queued up.

Writing

I like to help and mentor others through knowledge sharing. Due to time management and the Eisenhower’s Urgent/Important Principle, the writing gets deprioritized sometimes. When I can write, the 2016 and beyond blog focus is on Project Management, Leadership, Career, Personal Growth, and the like. Past topics were about reflective learning, management, life, and book, craft beer, & video game reviews. I started writing at the end of 2010 after an NSLS Seminar on digital identity.

Reading

Ever since Teresa gifted me a Kindle for Christmas, I have read a lot more. It is easier to hold and I can make the font bigger! Beyond lifelong learning through non-fiction books, I read video game adaptations, Star Trek, Star Wars, and Tom Clancy.

Website Design

I have a lot of fun creating websites. I have this personal one created on WordPress, previously on SquareSpace. Beyond this one, I have done several free WordPress sites. I was first introduced to website design his senior year of high school. At work, I have designed and maintained several SharePoint sites and Confluence.

I learned straight HTML, Microsoft Frontpage, Dreamweaver, and Flash. I even found my final project from senior year!!

Photo Manipulation

This is a more recent one I picked up. Mainly to do things for videos, social media, and my website. I utilize freeware to do this, Inkscape and Gimp. I am very much the amateur, but find it fun learning and creating or reimagining things.
