At the beginning, there were thousands of request workflows. After standards were identified among the duplicates, there were 579 workflows that we began enhancing. The team I was leading was able to consolidate it down to 248 workflows. Just from standards to consolidation, there was a reduction of 43%! Reporting capabilities improved and leveraged teams could see across all accounts.
Performance Reporting Metrics Improvement
At the beginning, it took 2 people 3.5 weeks, every month, to deliver the metrics. Within the reports, there was missing data types, customers, and teams with not actionable callouts. In the end, all gaps were filled, callouts were delivered ahead of schedule, and the reports now took one person 3 weeks. Time cut by 50%. Monthly meeting cut by 33%.

Although the Reporting Metrics Improvement project was a success, I wanted to cut even more wasted time and introduce more efficiency...through automation. This monthly process now only took 1 person 3 days to complete, cutting wasted time by over 80%. Any callouts were delivered prior to the now 30-minute monthly meeting—a reduction of 50%.
